Styling: A Preppy Chic Look

This season is all about sweaters…and layering to help keep warm, of course. Sweaters can be fun, cozy, casual, even feminine.
For this look, I layered a pearl-embellished sweater over a denim chambray top. This look is preppy but chic at the same time.

The pearls on the sweater give this a soft, feminine touch but adding a nice statement necklace and pulling my hair back into a low bun, adds a triple dose.

Since I rolled up the sleeves here, bare wrists need #armcandy!

When I think of “preppy chic,” socks with heels are a must.

If it’s too cold out, you can also add some thick tights instead of the little ankle socks. Or even do jeans instead.
