One of my favorite things to pair is a nice blazer and jeans. It’s edgy, easy and effortless. You just cannot go wrong! I love pairing a blazer with all kinds of tops from dramatic ruffles to vintage tees to turtlenecks. Anything goes. You can often find me in this style when heading to a business meeting or even coffee with friends. And depending on who I am meeting, I will either do ripped jeans or a solid dark wash denim. As for shoes- you can go from mules, sneakers to a classic pump or statement heels. Seriously, anything goes! Have fun with it.

For this look, I paired a plaid boyfriend blazer and ripped jeans. I wore a mock neck crop top which went nicely with my high waisted ripped jeans. I added a fun furry pair of retro pumps and a hunter green bag for a pop of color.

Jeans + Blazer = dressed!

I love pairing high end with budget-friendly pieces. For example, the plaid boyfriend blazer is a find from Target. I’m sure you’ve seen this blazer on your social media feeds as it quickly became one of the most sought-after blazers for the fall. Other retailers such as Zara, H&M, Free People and Forever21 sell a similar one but I found this to be the best deal and fit for my petite build. It was only $34.99 but now it’s on sale for $24.99 online. Don’t you hate when that happens?

I added this rose detailed belt which I’ve had for a few years now. It was from Forever21. And underneath, I opted for a mock neck crop top that was from Mandee (last year). My ripped jeans are from Forever21. I love their new high waisted stretchy jeans. They are perfect for curvy girls like me.

The shoes are from Macy’s by Donald J Pliner. They’re beautifully made and have a retro look and are fun to wear. The bag is by Kate Spade (as well as my bow bangle and sunnies). I am a big Kate Spade fan, this was a purchase from last year and I always get compliments on it. The beautiful hunter green color just pops.
