Last week, I got to spend time with a little red mean machine; the 2016 Mazda Grand Touring CX3. The particular model I got to drive is a hatchback. It is powerful and offers a smooth ride. And perfect for those with a need for speed.

There’s lots of tech to love in this car.

The 2016 Mazda Grand Touring CX 3 is a smaller crossover with an all-wheel-drive system. This little hatchback is jam-packed with features including a Bose audio system, keyless entry, push start, Skyactiv system, power sunroof, red and chrome accents, heated faux leather seats, navigation, 18-inch wheels and more. And I have to add that if your child has allergies like mine- this car comes with an A/C that has a pollen filter.

The 2016 Mazda Grand Touring CX 3 turns heads.

I got so many compliments from strangers on the Mazda CX 3 on both the color and style. It’s a very sporty vehicle and definitely one for the adventurous driver looking for comfort, style, and detail. I must admit, I’m not used to driving a hatchback but once I got the hang of it, I had a blast!

You can fit a nice group in here.

The Mazda Grand Touring CX3 seats up to five people but this is no family car. Being a mom to an only child, I can get away with such a car. Now, not all families have to refrain- to have as a second car for mom (or dad), that may be a pretty sweet idea.

Safety features that make sense.

What I love about driving a Mazda is that safe feeling. The Skyactiv system, as well as the I-Activesense advanced safety system help, maintain that safe feeling when driving. This particular model has AWD which is a bonus for the harsh winter months.

Final thoughts on the 2016 Mazda Grand Touring CX 3

Overall, I had a great experience driving the Mazda Grand Touring CX3. Everything from the color, design, and drive was great.
